What is Included in the Guide Trip

Boat Usage

COF uses 20 foot Alumaweld Super Vee boats for our lake fishing.  Room to cast, and a comfortable ride in all kinds of weather.  You are sure to enjoy the full or half day trip riding in style.

Fly Rods and Reels

COF is housed in the Stillwater Fly Shop and has access to some of the best fly fishing gear made.  We use guide test fly rods and reels to make sure you can land that fish of a trip.  If you feel more comfortable bringing your own gear, that fine as well.

Flies

COF will supply all of the flies that you will use to catch your fish.  Some of them are specific ties for central Oregon.  But dont worry, you can purchase these specially designed flies at the end of the trip if you plan on doing some DIY fishing after the guide trip.

Memories

Memories of that lost fish or the first fish of the day is what brings us back day after day.  We love the look on our clients faces as much as the fishing itself.  So bring a great attitude and maybe a camera to capture the moment.  But dont worry, if you forget your camera or phone we will be glad to capture it for you and send you the picture to your email account.

Scenery

Central Oregon is the spectacular with a vast diversity of eco-systems.  From the Three Sisters Wilderness to the Newberry Cauldera, you will be tempted to keep looking at the mountains, wildlife and general beauty of the landscape.

A lot of Fun

From the drive to the lake to the boat ride on the gleaming sparkles of the lake and the landing of that first fish, you will come away with a big smile on your face showing fun was had by all!
